Growth Marketing
Macy’s Mobile App was the lowest performing channel with the highest growth opportunity. Customers knew Macy’s had an app however, were unclear of the value and benefits of the application. I successfully led the development and implementation of Macy’s mobile app growth marketing strategy rooted in increasing awareness, acquisition and retention. These efforts resulted in a 4.8 app store ratings, download acquisition exceeded plan by +43% , and monthly active users exceeded plan by +25%.
New Business Development
Macy’s was exploring ways to expand their footprint internationally and create a new revenue stream. I was a member of the new business development team that launched the macys.com international website. As a result we delivered $18M in sales through international marketing and business development efforts, focusing on the biggest sales-driving countries, Canada and Australia.
Fashion Marketing
Celebrity recording artist NE-YO teamed up with Macy’s to promote its Alfani Red Collection in 2010. I led the marketing strategy and execution for this campaign.
